We recommend heading towards the Engen Petrol Station near Hermanus. At the intersection where the Engen Petrol Station is on your right, turn left onto Hemel en Aarde Road. From there, you can reach Stillwater Sanctuary.

Detailed Directions from Cape Town:

  1. Get onto the N2 Motorway.

  2. Follow N2 for 90 km. Take exit 90 from N2.

  3. Take Exit 90 toward R 43/Kleinmond/Hermanus.

  4. Continue onto R43 for 27 km.

  5. Turn left onto the Hemel en Aarde Rd.

  6. Follow, then turn left onto Karwyderskraal Rd dirt road [Stillwater Sanctuary Sign 1].

  7. Cross over the DeBos Dam bridge.

  8. Turn right into the road [Stillwater Sanctuary Sign 2] / see the Bosman Winery entrance on the left.

  9. Follow the road around the DeBos Dam.

  10. Turn right onto the dirt road [Stillwater Sanctuary Sign 3].

  11. Follow the road and keep right [Stillwater Sanctuary Sign 4]. The entrance to Stillwater Sanctuary is ahead.
